Robotics & Shooting Hoops 5th Grade
By Josh and Dionte
We learned to program a robot to shoot a ball. So first we had to build the arm and get it o shoot at the perfect angle. Then we had to program the perfect amount of forward. We also learned how to use loops to make the robot repeat, we learned how to put in the correct number of rotations. Also we learned how to to turn right and left and to use the color, touch, and ultrasonic sensors. The robot can use these to help it shoot hoops.
Tornadoes 5th grade
By Victoria
I chose to learn about tornadoes. After my tornado project I found out what a Green Town is, a Green Town is a city or a state goes green after a natural disaster like a tornado. A Green Town also means Going Green as in using recyclable items like a paper plate or a plastic spoon. Another way you could go green is not cutting down trees, cutting down trees gives us and our animals plenty of oxygen we need to live. Now, how you can make your own green town is using energy efficient appliances like your fridge, washer, or dryer. Having a compost pile is good because you can put that compost in your plants as a fertilizer.
Robotics & Firefighting 5th Grade
By Jimmy and Jonah
We did a project on firefighting robots. We picked this project because in California there is a lot of fire right now. That means there's a lot of smoke and smoke is bad for the environment. We added a water cannon so we could KO the fire. We learned about how to use sensors. We also learned how to use robots. We also made a 3D model of the fire ox the new fire fighting robot. The robots mission was to save people and cat lady from a FOREST FIRE. We completed our mission by moving toward the people and picking them up with the robot arm.
Robotics & Self Driving Cars 5th Grade
By David and Ryan
We learned how to program robots and how self driving cars work. We also learned how to use color sensors. The color sensors work by reflecting the color on an object like red or green at stoplights. The ultrasonic sensors work like echolocation by sending out a wave that bounces back to the robot to determine the space to the object. We learned how to make sounds with the robot. We also learned how to move with out touching any walls, which is helpful for self driving cars.

Robotics Mission 2nd grade
By Cai Matthew John
We chose our project to be a Panda on a Cliff and the robot to save the Panda from falling off the Cliff. He is going to be using the Ultrasonic Sensor. We learned that we can use the robot for: saving pandas, going through mazes, climbing fake Cliffs. We can also make the robot go forever without stopping.(Until the batteries dies, of course.) We also learned about how to make the robot go in circles in place, like doing the boogie dance. But we shall still learn how to make the robot go in circles forever. (Personally, I don't think it is possible.) Lessons we did include forward, turn, arm control, ultrasonic sensor, touch sensor, and loops.
Planets Poster 2nd grade
We learned about the planets. We learned how far away they are from the sun, what color, they are, and how big they are. We used this info to make paper planets and put them on our poster. It shows how big they are and how they orbit the sun.
Mercury is the smallest planet.
Venus is the glowing red fire planet.
On earth white stands for clouds blue stands for Ocean Green is land.
Mars is known the big red planet.
Jupiter is the Largest planet in the solar system.
Saturn has rings.
Uranus gets its blue color from methane- it absorbs red light but reflects blue light from the Sun.
Neptune goes around the sun once every 164 years.
Multiplication Game in Scratch 2nd grade
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/180174038/
By Emilie and Brooklyn
Me and Emilie are doing a video with a quiz.We learned how to code. We learned about multiplication. It was hard work. It was basing on multiplication and school. The characters names are Giga the teacher, and there are two students Nano ,and Tera. They have a test at the end of the video. It is a multiplication test. It is winter time there. To make the video we used scripts such as looks, events, and sound.
Scratch Animation Tunnel Boring Machine 2nd grade
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/181594263/
By Ezra
I learned that they use a tunnel shield if the ground is soft or it is wet. I love tunnels ! In Scratch, I learned how to use sound &make it look like it is moving! I learned how to say facts. you can see how a tbm works.
Multiplication Board Game 2nd grade
By Bailey and Claire
For are project we made a board game.we learned about how to multiply from Khan Academy. We learned how to measure the spaces evenly and get on websites. We made this board game to play. Our board game is called ninjas go. Me and Claire made this project based on the Lego ninja movie. We picked dice and board pieces. We also made cards on the computer then printed them out. Then we made a rule book and a answer sheet. But if you know your multiplication facts you can go to the challenge mode.

TINKERCAD Castle 3rd grade
By Hannah
I made this castle by sizing the sides of it .To make the door I went and got a hole to make it .
The pillars on the castle are made of a cylinders . The castle is only made with basic shapes .
It was very hard to make the castle because of how you have to size all of the shapes .

Robot Panda Mission 3rd grade
By Victor
First I programmed my EV3 to move its arm down.
Next I programmed it to move forward 3 rotations.
After that I programmed the EV3 to move to the side for 1 rotation.
Then I programmed the EV3 to go forward 4 rotations.
It can get the food to the panda with this program.

Robot Shark Rescue Mission 3rd grade
By Gus
for this project I will tell the coding I did.First I did move steering block 3 rotations then.Another move steering block but this time turn 50 then 1 rotation and another.Move steering block with 10 rotations. Then medium motor 0.25 rotations. But that is the end please try this it takes about 5-10 time but it is very fun!

Scratch Game 3rd grade

By Demetrius
So this game is about getting past robots to the button. I have directions for it. I hope you can go see it. I used a lot of different arrow keys in my code. I used different code to make it move. You control the character and the enemies move by themselves.

Paleotolengy 4th grade
Morgan
I did this to let young children know about Dino's and other animal that are now dead. I'm sorry I did not put a ton of them but this is some Dino's and other animals I think we should know about. I have a place in my heart for them like I do for my family. I heard of them and I wanted to share my passion with you.
