Opening a Petstore 3rd grade (Part 1)
We are learning how to open a pet store.
We took a survey about our favorite pets and graphed the results in Excel.
We took a survey about our favorite pets and graphed the results in Excel.
We came up with names for the store and voted on our favorite one- Petopolis won!
We asked questions about pets or how to open the store.
We looked at a list of buildings for sale on a website. Then we looked at them in Google Earth and voted on the one we thought was the best choice.
We all voted for this one. We chose it because it looks nice, it has a place to park, it was cheaper than some of the other choices, and it had enough square feet.

Tornado 4th Grade
By Tamara and Sanida
We made a slideshow about tornadoes and how to protect yourself from them. We began by researching weather websites and writing notes about what we found. We included many things such as how to stay safe, how they are formed, and how many occur per year. Then, we found this source that tells us about a town who used green technology after a tornado ruined their town. We found it interesting so we wrote notes about it and made it into a slide. We found some videos on tornadoes and we found one that was the most suitable for this slideshow. The video is made by James SpannIn conclusion, we learned about tornadoes and how to protect yourself from them.
