I learned chinese on a website called duolingo. I picked chinese because I like chinese, it is something new to learn about.  I know that china has pandas.   I also know that they have a lot of holidays. I also learned chinese at another school.

French Board Game (2nd grade)

 This is chat our french/english game. It took us a very long time and a lot of hard work.We made the game based on cats because we like cats. We learned French using a website called Duolingo. We made the cards in PowerPoint. We drew the board and used rulers to make sure it was even and had straight lines. We all ready tried playing it and it was fun.

Galapagos Comic (2nd grade)

Me and Claire picked the Galapagos because it has very unique animals.We learned about the blue footed booby and how these islands formed.We also learned about Charles Darwin and how he visited the islands for five whole weeks! If you have never heard of the Galapagos islands you should read me and Claires comic. We learned how the islands were declared a national park  and how the islands are slowly disappearing.

Architecture (2nd grade)

I learned the Burj Klalifa has 160 floors ! It was hard work. But it was fun. I also drew the Shanghai World Financial Center. It was built in 2008. I chose these buildings because I think they are cool.

For my project I wanted to research things about diseases. I got to learn about many different diseases. I learned how some diseases are caused like when a misquito bites you and it is carrying a bacteria it might  give you a disease. I also learned what places you might get a  disease.I also found out what ways you might find out you'er on the early stage of a type of disease. I found out what diseases are most likely to be cured. I learned what diseases come back and what diseases stay away . I learned that with some diseases you might need the treatment many times until you'er cured. I learned that some diseases have to be caught early if wanted to be treated. I learned that in some diseases there are different types of that disease might not spread to different parts of your body

In our project, we wanted to use code to entertain others while still using a little of our own interest.

We decided that the main character should be a fictional character (a llama-corn) and the guest-characters should be a boy and a girl

One of the children gets to take the lost llama-corn home
1. or to the salon.
2. or to the restaurant

 1. If they go to the salon, the llama-corn changes the skin style. 
2. If they go to the restaurant they eat food.

1.There will be a banner at the bottom saying how to get to the end of the story. 

Reptile Quiz & Animation (2nd grade)

Every reptile is cold blooded.
Gekco lizards are the smallest lizards.
Alligators live nearly 70 years.
We also learn how to use a if statement in Scratch.
We also learned that there are more that 8,000 species of reptiles.
I chose scratch because I wanted to create a animation.

Thunderstorms Animation (2nd grade)

We put a few clouds with rain. We had  to go to the sprites to get our cat to talk. We also had to put code into everything that we did. We learned that there are thousands of thunderstorms.We had to work together on everything so we could finish this project.
