Google Slides Sanida and Kiran Enrichment

We chose to do this project because we think that 3D cool and interesting and we wanted to learn more about it! If you click on the link below, you will see our slides presentation! Our presentation is about 3D. On each slide, the title is in 3D, so you might have to look at them with red-blue 3D glasses! Have fun learning about our slides! The first slide has the title and a few pictures. The second slide tells you to look at the titles with red-blue 3D glasses. The third slide tells us how 3D actually works. The fourth slide tells us who created 3D glasses. The fifth slide tells us about red-blue 3D. The sixth slide explains to us about why 3D isn't in red-blue anymore and that 3D is now polarized. The seventh slide tells us about polarized 3D. The eighth slide tells the similarities and differences between red-blue 3D and polarized 3D. The ninth slide tells us about what anaglyph is. And lastly, the tenth slide shows us the 3D image that the authors made (Sanida and Kiran).

Theme park ride by Ruth

 Princess And The Frog
                                                       Ride Description

When you walk in the line there is Louis and his band singing Jazz music in the swamp. And then there are more scenes from the movie with Dr .Facilier and the frog scene too. Then you get on a boat the ride is about 5 min long and the ride it tells the story of the Princess And The Frog. The reason why I wanted to make a Princess And The Frog ride because there is no ride for the movie and also I thought it would be cool to make it a water ride. Also having scenes from the movie in the line it will make people stay in the line longer. That is the reason why i wanted to make a Disney Park ride. Disney rides attract more people by adding a story to the ride.

Tesla by Morgan and Ibrahim

This is our Scratch Project we hope you enjoy!  https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/255465576/

We choose to do this project because we wanted to let people know about The dangers of Tesla autopilot. We have found out that multiple people have been injured and even killed. Me and my partner Ibrahim have been working on this project for a few months and we think that all the people that see this will like our project.

How much do electric cars really help the environment? By Kadir, Seth, and Braulio

For our project, we researched about how much electric cars can help the environment. The categories that we have on our slides are disadvantages, advantages, fracking, environment, our opinion, examples of electric cars, sources, and questions about electric cars. In this project we did research on how much electric cars help the environment. We spent a good amount of time on this project. We also added a little minivan animation where the car can drive from the bottom left corner  to the bottom right corner. We chose to do this because we wanted to learn more about electric cars and how much they can or can't help the environment. Our overall opinion about electric cars are that they can help the environment a good amount but not as much as we thought.

Trash & Pollution by Gabe and Victor

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/261460926/

Trash is making the world a bad place for not only us but also plants and animals.
We need to stop it because the world is dying. This is how we can stop it: NO littering. Put trash in the trash can and recyclables in the recycling bin. We need to be like Sweden they have been turning trash into heat. Start bringing your own bags and don't use straws/plastic bottles. Some places  source of electricity is from renewables. Reduce use of water chemical inputs. It's also good to communicate to everyone through radio, tv commercials, and advertisements so that people can know to try and reduce trash. Repair share and reuse are three more R's that people can use to help.

History of Hockey by Gus and Quinn

We learned that hockey is more than just a puck goals and a stick and who wins the Stanley cup. It is about much more than you think. It is about sportsmanship and having fun with your friends. Over the many articles me and Quinn have read we learned that. Over the stats of players we learned that over the websites we have been over we learned that. But thats what we learned- that doesn't mean you can't learn something new, so read our article below and many more. If you are interested in hockey do some research tell your friends what you know- make their eyes pop and we hope this make your eyes pop!!!!

Snakes by Ava

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/255135986/
My project is about how snakes can live in different habitats and the different types of snakes. The topic on snakes is really amazing. They shed their skin, and grow a new one. Snakes also live in the ocean. Some live in the city, and some pets I truly think snakes are amazingly great reptiles.

Robotics by Hannah and Leyla

Robotics is going through challenges and problem solving with code. One of the challenges was to go through a maze with an ultrasonic censer.  Another challenge we did was move until color it was with LEGO green.

The LEGO block is green red one side and blue and yellow on the other. It has a gray frame and made of LEGO  bricks and pipes. We learned how to make the robot stop when it saw the red side and go when it saw the green side. We learned a lot when we did this project, it helped us learn how to code better. We completed lessons on: moving forward, turning, move until touch, move until near, move until color, loops and switches.

Volcanoes by Finn and Oscar

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/258112157/

We chose to learn about volcanoes because we saw pictures of them and thought they were cool. Volcanoes rarely erupt. They are giant mountains. When they erupt, they could damage a lot of things. The stuff  that comes out of the volcano is called lava rock. They also have phases like active and dormant. To learn more, please watch our scratch project.

Scratch Game by Mahima

I learned how to code. And do the score, use to move the mouse ,and lots of more! I learned how to broadcast a signal and add sounds. And how to make the ball bounce. And if touching color red freeze and stop the game.

Scratch Project by Camora

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/256422560/

Making Anna move up and down was the easiest part of my project. I loved moving the cat to get the apples. My favorite thing to do for my project was change the score. I love coding on scratch. Coding is one of my favorite things to do.

LEGO Robotics by Coen

Programming robots is not a cake walk every day i programmed and programmed  and  programmed but ... one day i studied and it hit me... i put me robot on the track and it made it to the end ... i was speechless... i told myself in my mind ... today was my lucky day  robot number 1 did it . I learned how to make the robot move forward, turn, how to use the color sensor, and loops. I learned that you should never give up failure is not the key to success.

Scratch Project by Antonio

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/270378234/

I like coding stuff it was fun and it was not a one day thing for A project it take's two or three days. It not hard to do after a while and my first project was  a ping pong game. it is a fun game and easy to make. If you can make the same game its super easy when you get used to it. There are directions to help you. And if you don't want to make it you can play mine click the link at the top to play.

LEGO Robotics by Collin

I learned how to program. But it was not easy. Also i learned how to move the robot forward. Also i learned how to move it backwards. And i learned how to make it spin and turn. I programmed it to move through a maze. I learned how to use a color sensor to make it move on green and stop on red.

The Moon by Nabela

I made a poster of the moon and living on the moon. I found out how to get air, water, and energy on the moon. I made the moon and the earth.First I took notes then I made the moon and then I printed the words out. I glued them all on then I made the earth and I glued it on. Then I wrote my name and I wrote what I was working on.Making a poster was fun maybe you can make one too.
